Daniela Kozáková
Attorney-at-law, Partner
Daniela is an experienced attorney-at-law focusing on real estate and commercial law. In addition, Daniela has considerable long-term experience in art law and cultural heritage. Daniela has an excellent understanding of the local legal and business environment and is capable of effectively reflecting the specificities of such an environment while providing legal services:
- Daniela has more than 15 years of significant legal expertise and experience in all fields of commercial law. Over the years, she has worked for several international law firms and spent ten years working for the largest law firm in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
- In the area of real estate and construction law, Daniela has lead or been involved in various important transactions and projects in the area of acquisitions including the due diligence of real estate areas, development, lease and asset management of commercial centers, offices, industrial and logistic premises as well as residential properties. With the latter, Daniela provides legal services to high net worth individuals and other private clients when acquiring or selling such property.
- Daniela further provides art law and cultural heritage legal services for collectors, private galleries and other professionals within the art market, institutions and museums, involving the authenticity and provenance issues, including due diligence, representing them in acquisition of the works of art, dealing with issues related to their insurance, advising on various loans of art either private or institutional, and advising on cultural heritage issues.

- Daniela is a member of the Association for Real Estate Market Development in Prague that is the association of the leaders of the Czech real estate market.
- Daniela is also a member of PAIAM (Professional Advisors to the International Art Market) a multi-disciplinary networking platform for renowned professionals advising the global art market.
- Daniela is a member of Czech Bar Association.
Education
- Daniela holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague.
- Daniela also studied private international law at Utrecht University.
- Daniela completed the Finance and Art Market program at Sotheby’s Institute in London.
- Apart from her native Czech she also speaks English and French.
